Leta Cordes Mother Has Passed Away
There is yet another sad chapter to the tragedy of Leta Cordes disappearance.
Modena McLendon, Leta Cordes Mother passed away this past Friday March 6th, 2009 due to complications of Alzheimer’s Disease.
Leta was one of her mothers primary caretakers when she disappeared. Shortly after Leta Cordes disappearance Mrs. McLendon was placed in a California run hospital.
The only peace this news gives us is that Modena Mclendon is now in heaven with three of her children that left this world much too early.
God Bless all of you.
I will miss each and every one of you.
My heart goes out to Rory Bryant, Leta’s only child.
Rory has not only lost his mother and two uncles, but now his beloved Grandmother.
Lots of love to Leta’s family and friends during this sad time in our lives.

I extend my sympathy to Rory and family. I have met Modena years ago on several ocassions. She always was warm amd welcoming like her daughter.

Rory and family I want to give my sympathy to you all,I am so sorry for what you all are going thro ugh.I also met Modena a couple of times, last time was about 9 years ago when leta pushed her in her wheelchair into our Salon. She had a great sense of humor . she will be dearly missed. I am here if you need me.

this is bobby…..for all of those coming to this site with good things and thoughts in your heart i thank you and i hope that the continuing effort to find my dear beloved friend will as before mentioned(continue)….again i thank everyone involved in the continuing effort to find leta….if there was anyone who deserved the best and the most we all have to give …it is her…again thanks to all and keep us all in your prayers at all times
